Sleep is the headline. Stability is the story.
Alison Anandi Francis gives journalists and producers a different angle on sleep: not what to do at bedtime, but why capable people stop sleeping well, and what has to steady before they can.

For the record
Alison Anandi Francis is an Internal Stability Expert and the creator of Sleepology by Anandi®. Her work starts from a premise most sleep advice misses: sleep is not the problem to be fixed. It is the outcome of a system that is either stable or compensating. She works with people who are capable on the outside and running on effort underneath. Her diagnostic method reads breath, nervous system, rhythm, digestion and load alongside measurable markers.
Alison has thirty-five years in wellbeing, twenty-three of them in yoga, breath and Ayurveda, and has led residential retreats since 2008. She is the author of Breathe Better, Sleep Better and Teaching Breathwork, the creator of the Inner Stability Index, and President of Helping Hands for India. She works privately with a small number of clients each year and hosts retreats at Casa Anandi, her home in Le Marche, Italy.

Angles she brings
- Why capable people sleep badly. They function well by day and run on effort at night. It rarely shows up as a sleep problem first.
- Why sleep hygiene stops working. When the system is carrying too much, routines cannot override physiology.
- The breath and sleep. Certain breathing patterns keep the nervous system on alert. She explains what changes when they settle.
- Waking at 3am. What night waking says about load and rhythm, and why it is a pattern rather than a bad night.
- Sleep trackers. When measurement helps, and when chasing a score keeps people awake.
