Speaking

Not another talk about sleep hygiene.

I speak about what sits beneath sleep: the load capable people carry, how the system adapts to it, and why recovery stops being reliable. Audiences leave with the pattern named, not a list of tips.

Approach

Why this lands differently

Most talks about sleep hand out advice. Advice doesn’t reach a system that never comes off duty. My talks do something else: they make the pattern visible, so people recognise it in themselves. Recognition is where change starts.

The people I speak to are usually functioning well on the outside and running on effort underneath: leadership teams, founders, people in high-pressure work.

Recognition is where change starts.

What I speak on

Talks

01

Stability comes before sleep.

Why a sleep problem in high-functioning people is rarely a sleep problem, and what the nervous system is reporting when nights become unreliable.

02

Running on effort, not reserve.

What happens when capable people keep performing on compensation, how to recognise the cost before it surfaces, and what rebuilds reserve.

03

The breath beneath performance.

Breath as the most direct read of the nervous system: how pressure changes it, and why that shapes sleep, focus and judgement. It draws on my book Breathe Better, Sleep Better.
