Ever since my twenties, my journey in natural healing began as a fitness instructor, igniting a passion that evolved over two decades in the beauty industry.
My interest in beauty and rejuvenation took centre stage, but the obstacle of sleep deprivation prompted a transformative exploration into Eastern sciences, specifically yoga and Ayurveda.
From battling chronic insomnia to achieving restful nights and sustained vitality through the tools I now teach, my focus has shifted over the years. Delving into Ayurvedic rejuvenation as a holistic endeavour, I recognised that sleep, a vital pillar of Ayurveda, is intricately connected to overall well-being.
True rejuvenation requires nourishment through the right foods and the cultivation of life force energy.
Responding to numerous inquiries about my journey using breathwork to overcome insomnia, I recently authored and published ‘Breathe Better, Sleep Better.’ This book aims to share a crucial life lesson: attempting to control the breath restricts rather than enhances it, mirroring a broader truth about life. To achieve health and restful sleep, creating space, relinquishing control, and being present are essential.
The genesis of my retreats stemmed from the realisation that people crave the time and space to learn self-care techniques, liberating themselves from stress accumulated through sleep deprivation and overwork.
I firmly believe that rejuvenative health practises and quality sleep are the keys to feeling and maintaining youthfulness.
In my retreats, I guide participants in making informed lifestyle choices, selecting the right foods, and adopting rituals that contribute to staying vibrant and youthful.
