I was. For years, I couldn’t get a good night’s sleep. Insomnia haunted me for what seemed like an eternity.
I had tried everything. My doctor was more than happy to write a prescription for sleeping pills along with the 10 million other NHS prescriptions handed out per year in the UK.  I refused after trying one of my mothers. I actually felt worse!

I was always exhausted and often, I could barely get through the day.  I never had the energy to do the things I wanted to do and enjoy them. I was like a prisoner of my own body and mind, without any sign of relief in sight.

That’s when I started to get depressed.

When I was just about at the end of my tether, and desperately searching for a solution to my insomnia, I came across the long-respected but highly-overlooked natural health therapy known as Ayurveda.

Ayurveda is deeply rooted in ancient India, and it’s thousands of years old. That’s what attracted me to it. I wanted to stay away from Western medicine with its heavy reliance on pharmaceuticals that do strange things to your brain and make feel like you want die! No thanks!
